Having a baby is a dream for many couples, but it is not always a reality for these couples. Two people with a passion for reproductive healthcare and fertility enhancement founded The Hive Fertility Clinic & Women Centre. Despite working for different institutions, they were drawn together by a common objective to help couples who wish to become parents. They decided to bridge the gap between the couple’s desire and their ability to become parents.
Dr. Niveditha Amilthan and Dr. Rukkayal Fathima were the best gynecologists in Chennai. As a result of their tenure at different hospitals and clinics, they were able to meet many couples experiencing difficulties during childbirth. Considering the unique reasons for each couple’s inability to have a child, they all required specialized treatment and care. It was heartbreaking to witness couples struggling to become parents, sometimes because of minor problems or ignorance. In order to help these couples fulfill their treasured dream of becoming parents, they both decided to take a leap of faith and establish a specialized facility. This facility would cater to the unique individual needs of these couples. That is how the present The Hive Fertility Clinic & Women Center came to be.
Dr. Niveditha Amilthan, Co-Founder & Director of The Hive Fertility Clinic & Women’s Center is a highly passionate and skilled Gynaecologist and Fertility Consultant in Chennai, with over 13+ years of experience in various hospitals across India. She pursued under- graduation from Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai and her masters from the Prestigious Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Madras Medical College, Chennai. She is also a member of The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), London. Dr Niveditha then went on to complete her fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Endocrinology in OSHREM (Oasis School for Human Embryology and Reproductive Medicine) and in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from the World Laparoscopy Hospital, to cultivate her expertise in fertility and enhancing endoscopic surgeries. She now specializes in treating various cases of female/male infertility, ovarian PRP, endometrial PRP, endometriosis management, recurrent implantation failure, fertility preservation, etc. Dr. Niveditha is an avid academician who regularly participates in various medical conferences & workshops related to Fertility advancements. During post graduation, she had a keen interest in performing scans which made her do fellowship in ultrasound of obstetrics and gynaecology .
