We never expected my reproductive health would be such a huge barrier to the dream of having a baby. Aditi and Rakesh always wanted to have a family. After three happy years of marriage, they dreamed of children running around their home.
We tried month after month, but it didn’t work, later, we found it difficult to get pregnant. Finally, we visited a clinic and discovered that Rakesh had a condition called azoospermia, which means he had no sperm in his semen. Aditi and I were devastated when we heard that my semen didn’t have sperm in it.

We came to know about Azoospermia
I am Aditi and my husband is Rakesh, we were happily married for three years and decided to make our family complete. But, things didn’t go as per our plan, because we found that natural conception is not going to happen in our case.
We visited a hospital nearby and decided to give a fertility check to find out whether there was any serious problem.
After some time, the results came that were very hard for both of them; Rakesh had a condition called azoospermia, which means he had no sperm in his semen. Rakesh felt sad and embarrassed, thinking this made him less of a man. I was heartbroken; our dreams of a family seemed far away.
We never spent a night without worrying about this issue and we were clueless about how could help us and what people think if they came to know about this thing.

We were very strong that we needed a baby, so I and Rakesh were very busy researching and finding fertility clinics. That’s when we came to know about Hive Fertility Clinic. We read success stories of other couples, which gave them hope that they could also have a baby.

We waited patiently and took time to decide because the doctor explained, that Rakesh was too concerned because I wanted to undergo IVF treatment and it may or may not succeed the first time. However, I was very happy as there was a chance to have a baby, so we decided to undergo this treatment.
The SSR Procedure
Rakesh followed the doctor’s advice and prepared properly for the SSR procedure, he was advised to clean the genital area and advised don’t eat or drink before the procedure, and completely cut off alcohol.
My husband was a bit nervous before undergoing this treatment, then the surgeon completed the procedure.
After some hours, the doctor found good sperm that could be used for IVF. We were filled with hope again and felt very happy.
IVF Journey
Then, it was my turn for IVF. The doctor prepared for the process and explained there would be five steps, they are egg retrieval, fertilization, embryo culture, embryo transfer, and taking a pregnancy test.
I experienced mixed emotions and was very anxious and hopeful at the same time, but we supported each other throughout the process. The doctor gave ovulation induction medicine and retrieved eggs, then they were fertilized with Rakesh’s sperm.
Once, the embryos reached the 4 AA stage, the doctor decided to transfer the best embryos into my uterus in the embryo transfer. Then, the doctor asked us to wait patiently and take sufficient rest properly. We also did the same and hopefully waited.
Final Result
Two weeks later, I fainted and Rakesh took me to the clinic. The doctor at the Hive Fertility Clinic confirmed that I am pregnant. Then, we went for regular checkups and as the months went by, the doctor informed us that we were expecting twins. We felt grateful for the support from the staff at Hive Fertility Clinic.
Finally, on a beautiful day, we welcomed their twins, a boy and a girl. So, we wanted everyone to know that obstacles will surely be a part of our lives, but with the right care and support, you can achieve what you want, just like how Hive Fertility helped us.
