Arun and Maya’s path was filled with challenges, hope, and countless prayers. For years, they dreamed of holding our baby in our arms. With the guidance of Hive Fertility Clinic, our dream finally became a reality, and this is the small story of how they got there.

Our First Consultation

Maya shared that I clearly remember our first visit to Hive Fertility Clinic, which was the first day towards a big day. Both me and Arun were hopeless and nervous when we stepped into the clinic. But the staff made us feel comfortable and made us understand we were not alone.

Reputed fertility experts at the Hive Fertility Clinic reviewed our medical history and test results. The doctor explained all the available options and recommended the best choice, In Vitro Fertilization. For the first time in years, we felt hopeful and happy that there was a way to become pregnant.

What Happened at Hive Fertility Clinic?

The clinic prepared a detailed treatment plan for me. I went through ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval and fertilization. Arun and I were so comfortable and happy with the staff’s approach as they were always there to answer our questions and guide us through every step. It felt like being part of a supportive family.

Once the embryos were ready, the transfer process went smoothly. The doctor gave us clear instructions for the two-week wait, reminding us to rest and take care of each other.

Cramping After IVF

A few days after the embryo transfer, I started to feel mild cramping. I got scared and thought something might go wrong. I called the clinic, and the nurse reassured me that cramping is normal after a transfer and could even be a good sign.

The doctor explained that cramping often happens when the embryo settles into the uterine lining, which is a very important step toward pregnancy. Fertility experts also mentioned that cramps can be the side effects of hormonal changes and medications given for stimulation.

They also asked that whether am I experiencing severe or mild cramps and clarified until it is mild I don’t want to worry. It was a huge relief for us after hearing cramping after IVF was normal.

Happy Results

The two-week wait feels like years and full of mixed emotions. Instead of taking a pregnancy test using a home kit, we decided to do a pregnancy test at the Hive Fertility itself to get accurate results. The doctor collected the blood sample and shared the good news that we were going to be parents.

If you’re experiencing mild cramps during your IVF journey, try not to worry. Stay calm, and reach out to your doctor for reassurance and guidance.
